MY BIOGRAPHY

I am Daniela Gil. I study in San Angelo school and I am 16 years old. I was born in Cartagena but now I live in Bogotá. I have 2 Sisters, Veronica that is 14 years old and Natalia that is 1 year old.

When I was born, my dad was told that he got to move to Chile because he works in the Navy. So when my mom knew she decided that we had to go with him. In that moment I was only a few days old and all my movings started.

A year and a half later we moved back to Cartagena where 6 months later my sister was born.

When I was 3 we moved to Bogotá and stayed there for a year. Then we moved to Puerto Legizamo, that is located in Putumayo. We stayed there another year.

Finally we got back to Cartagena where we stayed for 5 years. In that place I started my elementary school and met a lot of friends. I learned how to ride a bike and spend some time with my grandmother that passed away when I was 5.

At the end of fourth grade, we moved to Bogotá. There I learned how to play the guitar and I started to love making music and listening to it. We stayed in Bogotá for 8 months because my father got transfered to Washington D.C.

When we got transfered to the USA I was so happy because I could visit different places in a different country but I was also nervious because I did not knew the language and I was going to the school there.

When I arrived to that school I did not understand much of what they where saying but with the past of the days I started to understand more and more.

In 2009 I visited Disney World and everyone was happy. We visited lots of places like Miami, New York City, Boston. Philadelphia, Niagara Falls, and many more.

But in January of 2010 we got transfered to San Andres Island, there in Colombia. It was a great time for me because I met lots of friends and spent a lot of time with them. But that was only for 2 years.

In 2012 I arrived to Bogotá, where I enter to San Angelo school and graduated from 9th grade. In December from that year my other sister was born.

Now I still in Bogotá and I am doing my last year of school.

I have been in many diferent schools. My first school was in Cartagena when I was 2, that was a kindergarden. In my second year of kindergarden we were living in Puerto Leguizamo. I made the Last year of kindergarden to fourth grade in Cartagena, in Colegio Naval de Manzanillo. Then I enter the San Angelo School but I could not finish fifth grade, because I had to go to USA. There I was in two diferent schools College Gardens that is a elementary school and Julius West that is a Middle School. In elementary I finish fifth grade, but could not finish sixth grade in Julius West because we moved to San Andres Island.

In San Andres, I first started doing sixth grade but because of my notes I got promoted to seven grade. I finish with good grades seventh and eighth grade in the island.

Then I enter San Angelo again and made ninth, tenth and now I am doing eleventh grade.

When I was in Eigth grade, I had to do some proyects, one of them was making a research about something. I decides to do it about urban tribes.

In the few years that I have been in San Angelo, I have some things I will like to say. I enter in ninth grade. In this year I meet my first classmates and I had a surgery, and the school help me with the inability, letting me stay at home and take care of myself. When I came back to the school the teachers helped me with all the grades I had missed.

In tenth grade I made all my school work, having really good notes. I took part of all of the projects, but sadly at the end of the year I had a problem with my partners so I had to finish that project alone.

In eleventh grade I change to another classroom because of the problem I had last year. I was scared of it. But when I came to this classroom everyone received me, and now I am very happy in this classroom, making new classmates and finishing my last year in the school.

Future Plans

When I finish school I want to study sound engineering, but I have another surgery so I could not enter the university in the first semester because of mine inability, in that semester I will try to enter in some classes but I do not know yet which is going to be the class. In the second semester I will travel to Germany for a least 3 to 6 months (that depends on where I am going to stay), to study German.

The next year I am going to the university to study the career that I want so I learn more and more about what I like to do, and try to get a job so I can supply myself all I need to my university.

This video, is a movie I made with my last group. We did it for an english project and all of the classroom was in this movie. We had a lot of fun taking all the shots and providing new ideas to the film

This is the logo of an asocciation of teenagers that want to help the needed, in which I was part of. This club means a lot to me because I could learn about many different things and many different cultures, and I could met new people thar are now my friends.

This video is about alcohol and drugs, my class and I did it when I was in eight grade. We had a lot of fun, because we had to find all the stuff we used to recreated the story we where making. In one part we actually talk to the police to see if they could help us with our video. At the end qe had a great story and we send the video to the police so they could use it in some meetings.

Farewell

I am not very good at farewells, but I had to do it many times. I will always remember all my classmates and how they make 11B be 11B. There are many people that I will miss, but I know that will happened, It doesn´t matter the time I spend with someone I will missed everbody because, not only San Angelo but 11B has gave my memories that I will never forget and that will make me miss every single person.

The school environment is something that I will always like and miss, because I often think about being a teacher but I decided for another carrer. That makes that I will never forget the school which help me graduated from something as important as the school.

Through my school life there are so many people I will like to thank. It goes from classmates to friends, teachers and even the people with the ones I don´t speak anymore.

This people are the ones that had helped me through the school, some of the ones I just said I don´t speak with them anymore. But I know I have to thank them, because in some cases I couldn´t do some works without them, and I know is good to thank the people you don´t like. Any ways many of the people I thank are teachers and others are my real friends, those are the people I thank form the heart because if it was not for some on you I could not be where I am know.
